To be eligible for this coverage, an injury must occur as a direct result of participation in varsity athletics. Injuries sustained prior to the athlete attending college and medical expenses incurred due to sickness or illness are also not covered by this policy. Treatment that is sought outside of the knowledge of Haverford College's athletic training staff may not be eligible for coverage.

Insurance Information Haverford College maintains a secondary insurance policy that aids in the payment of bills due to athletic injuries.
