Originally published at lmt-lss. Back in the day, to love someone meant to love them unconditionally. But this kind of love is hard to spot these days. Unconditional love is the purest form of love. It involves loving someone, accepting them the way they are wholeheartedly, and sticking together despite issues, making compromises and solving issues along the way. Instead, the focus needs to lie on how to work things out together.
Sometimes when I look at you, I feel I'm gazing at a distant star. It's dazzling, but the light is from tens of thousands of years ago. Maybe the star doesn't even exist any more.
Yet sometimes that light seems more real to me than anything. If you're looking for Mr. You have to get the best deal you can, but there will always be problems. Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it hope.
The top 40 reasons love does not exist
Feed it truth. Feed it with love. Whatever it is that binds families and married couples together, that's not love. That's stupidity or selfishness or fear.
Love doesn't exist. Self interest exists, attachment based on personal gain exists, complacency exists. But not love. The secret to living well and longer is: eat half, walk double, laugh triple and love without measure. If there is no love in the world, we will make a new world, and we will give it walls, and we will furnish it with soft, red interiors, from the inside out, and give it a knocker that resonates like a diamond falling to a jeweller's felt so that we should never hear it.
Love me, because love doesn't exist, and I have tried everything that does. What is love?
It's nothing. It's just a word. It doesn't exist. Only pleasure is important. It seems to me that real nature doesn't exist anymore, this idea of "the wild. I see nature as a resource. Darkness doesn't exist, you can merely measure the amount of light that is present.
I think the same of hate, a lack of love rather.
There's something I love about how stark the contrast is between January and June in Sweden. In a way, I feel that time doesn't exist in LA. Sometimes I don't know if it's February or April or October, because you're always sitting outside on the same patio, and it's 70 degrees.
Love doesn't exist quotes
Distance doesn't exist, in fact, and neither does time. Vibrations from love or music can be felt everywhere, at all times. I love language. It doesn't bother me that its effects are partial. To me that is very sanity-producing. It would be weird if the effects of language were more than partial, if your whole life existed within your texts.
That would be much scarier to me than language being an inadequate tool to represent. If I were to be really petulant, I would say New York is the one doing the betraying. Because the New York I fell in love with doesn't really exist anymore. During an interview with Katie Couric Tuesday, Sarah Palin says she is not opposed to gay people, adding 'One of my absolute best friends for the last 30 years happens to be gay and I love her dearly and she doesn't exist.
The same desire to do well exists - to live a consistent life that honors and pleases the Lord. The big difference is that God isn't evaluating my actions and basing His love on how well I 'perform'. His love for me is unconditional. Even when I mess up He doesn't threaten to trade me off His team. To AMC's credit, I think what they saw was the show doesn't exist in the marketplace. They knew that there was a hunger for a martial arts show. They also knew that you have this strong tradition of martial arts cinema, so even though it's not branded by a novel or a comic book or an old movie or something, we do have the genre itself, which people love.
7 reasons why unconditional love doesn’t exist anymore
One of the things that really gets me excited and makes me start up companies is the fact that you can basically build something new, try to introduce a change in a way that people are used to doing certain activities, and basically create something out of scratch that doesn't exist and would revolutionize whatever it is that you are trying to do with it.
So that's part of the reason I love being able to be a technologist. The only thing that's real in any universe [is] that brilliant fire of Love that burns to the exclusion of everything else. As we recognize the presence of Love, we break through the wall of grief that would try to convince us that the dear soul with whom we have learned and loved so much no longer exists, or that she or he cannot speak with us.
There is no wall that Love cannot vaporize. We may believe in death, Love doesn't. It doesn't matter whether they [beloved ones] are on this planet or not on this planet anymore.
Once something is bound by love, as long as that love exists, there is nothing that can separate us. There is the appearance of separation, but the heart, it always treasures and values that. It doesn't matter where on Earth you live, everyone is utterly dependent on the existence of that lovely, living saltwater soup. There's plenty of water in the universe without life, but nowhere is there life without water. Know that what appears to be Love for an 'other' is really Love of Self because 'other' doesn't exist.
So this innermost Love can be given to no 'other'. Love of friends is for the sake of Self, not for body to body.
Why true love doesn't exist
To love a person is to see all of their magic, and to remind them of it when they have forgotten. Nearly everyone underestimates how powerful the touch of another person's hand can be.
The need to be touched is something so primal, so fundamentally a part of our existence as human beings that its true impact upon us can be difficult to put into words. That power doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sex, either. From the time we are infants, we learn to associate the touch of a human hand with safety, with comfort, with love. I have this desire to have this immaculate form of love that really doesn't exist, so my obsession goes on through life and I never find it and I end up miserable. But it makes me a better writer.
I'm not for pretending that bad stuff doesn't exist, and a passion for justice and truth is a libertarian trait. But the idea of liberty should also reveal new forms of beauty in the world, astonishing evidence of order without dictate, lovely examples of innovation without planning, and other magical things.
Surely these deserve some attention too. I find it ironic that Republicans have such disdain for the lazy, and yet their solution to every problem is do nothing.
Their answer to wealth inequality, do nothing. Health care? Do nothing. Climate change?
For a group of people so head over heels in love with self-reliance, they sure do recommend a lot of sitting on their ass. Maybe that's an overly romantic view of human existence, but I'm an overly romantic human being.
6 reasons why love doesn't exist
If love, like rock and roll, doesn't consume meit's not love. It can be respect, appreciation, admiration, wonderment, it can be a world of glory and a lifetime of peace, but I can't call it love. Love burns me and confuses me. Love's a light that can't be extinguished. Just because my path is different doesn't mean I'm lost. Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life. I'm in love with a philosophy major, and she doesn't even know I exist.
And what's worse, she can prove it.
It's an incredible feeling falling in love someone who doesn't know you exist. The lion doesn't turn around when the small dog barks.
