A new business accelerator beginning this fall will look to spark investment in startups founded by people of color, women and veterans in the Green Bay area.
The Women of Vision Luncheon was held virtually on Tuesday, August 18, coinciding with the th anniversary of the ratification of the 19 th Amendment which gave women the right to vote. Carol J. Thomas, MN. She currently serves as Resident Scholar in the Cassandra Voss Center for equity, identity, and dialogue-across-difference at St. Norbert College, WI. She is particularly passionate about studying and understanding how the digital age yikes!

Sharon Resch started her journey in a very poor neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN where she was surrounded by people who needed help. Since this tradition of surprise has honored distinguished area women chosen by their peers as true Women of Vision!

She is supportive, service-hearted, and has the integrity, positivity, and can-do attitude that make her an integral part of the YWCA team. Chris has shattered glass ceilings and demonstrated amazing leadership in a male-dominated field.
She is quick to take a backseat due to her remarkable self-confidence, and she has cast a spotlight on Lulu Bellin as an early supporter of the YWCA. Sharon also tends to take a backseat to work quietly in the shadows and act as a conduit for change.
She carried the torch for our Campaign of the Century, bringing us across the finish line. We are honored to soon have our building named after her.
